Dear IFTF, Greetings! My name is Aleksandra, from Skopje, Macedonia. I have an academic background in English language & literature, and nursing. What makes me happy is to be able to help people and see them happy. At 18 years old I gained my first voluntary experience, working in the “Military hospital” in Skopje. During a Global PACT Activism school in Zagreb, Croatia, I had an opportunity to meet amazing people and friends from Romania, Kosovo, USA, Balkan countries. ”We can make it happen”, is a project on which I was helping, where together with children from “SOS Children’s Village” in cooperation with “PricewaterhouseCoopers” and “Red Cross”, we organized creative workshops. “PricewaterhouseCoopers” is a company where I gained over 5 years valuable professional experience. I now work at “Sahara Global” as executive assistant to Country Director. I also worked on opening of first Indian restaurant “Peacock” and first Indian kindergarten in Skopje. I like hiking, photographing, cooking, swimming.
